Sandra P. Saltiel, RDH

Sandra P. Saltiel grew up in the Chicago area and earned her Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Southern Illinois University in 1974. Sandy has been a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association since 1974.  From 1983 to 1987 Sandy has served as the Placement Chairperson for North Suburban Dental Hygienists’ Society.  She has worked with the dentists of Village Green Dentistry since 1992.

Sandy currently is the past president of the Riverside Foundation Auxiliary, has co-chaired the Foundation’s Gala fundraiser, and has also served on the Board of Directors of Riverside Foundation, a residential and training facility for developmentally disabled adults located in Lincolnshire.  Sandy has participated in in-service seminars with the staff at Riverside Foundation to improve the oral health of the clients.  Sandy also volunteers at Sprague School in Lincolnshire during Children’s’ Dental Health Week and participates in the biannual Stevenson High School Career Fair.

As the past president of the Lincolnshire Community Association, Sandy has chaired the Village of Lincolnshire 4th of July Celebration and organized the production of the Lincolnshire Community Directory. She has also served on Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection Citizens Advisory Board and volunteered with the Friends of the Vernon Area Public Library.   

Sandy Saltiel and her husband David were honored by the Lincolnshire Community Association in 2001 as "Citizens of the Year" for their volunteer efforts within the community.

She is the proud mother of two teenagers, Brittany and Robert.
